Basement Waterproofing Before & After Photos

The garage floor was cracked in multiple places, and some areas were sinking. While PolyLevel can usually help lift sunken concrete, this garage floor was cracked too much for PolyLevel to be effective. We removed the old slab floor and poured a brand new concrete floor for the owners to enjoy.

We installed WaterGuard along the perimeter and connected to a new TripleSafe Sump Pump. WaterGuard captures and channels water to the TripleSafe, which features two Zoeller sumps and a battery-powered backup. The TripleSafe drains water out of the basement and through an Exterior Buried Discharge line that is protected against ice buildup with IceGuard. Next, to brighten up the interior of the basement and provide a layer covering the cold concrete walls, BrightWall panels were installed over the damaged area. Our homeowner can rest knowing their basement is dry and protected!

With a musty crawlspace beneath their home, this Arundel, ME homeowner knew they wanted to have something done about it. Unsure how to approach the problem on their own, they hired us at TC Hafford Basement Systems to waterproof the space! We quickly got to work pouring a fresh slab of concrete over a newly installed CleanSpace vapor barrier. WaterGuard piping was installed around the perimeter of the crawlspace, beneath the surface of the concrete. The WaterGuard will take in any moisture that might leak in through the floor. This water will be forced out of the home by a nearby TripleSafe sump system. With all these new protections in place, this homeowner will very shortly notice their moisture problem become a thing of the past!
