Once our installation crew arrived at the home, they got started on sealing the cracks right away. To install FlexiSpan seals over each crack, a primary layer of sealant was first applied within the cracks. A thin foam pad was laid along the cracks over the first layer of sealant. To finish the seal, a second layer of sealant was applied over the top of the foam core, creating FlexiSpan seals covering each crack. These seals benefit from the foam core by being able to contort to any slight changes in the wall, maintaining their water-tight seal. Next, to prevent future bowing of the wall, PowerBrace beams were attached to the floor and spaced out along the problem-wall. These beams were then tightened against the wall using their adjustable fixtures anchored to the joists above the basement.

After sealing these pipes in place with a fresh layer of concrete, they will act to intercept any moisture leaking through the foundation in the future. This collected water is guided through the WaterGuard to the SuperSump pump installed where the old pump had been. The SuperSump system is able to remove over 2,600 gallons of water from the home every hour. This water flow out of the home through a PVC discharge line protected by an IceGuard segment just outside the home. The IceGuard is built in a way that provides any water blocked by ice or debris a way to escape the line without backing up into the basement.
