We updated the insulation in this Yarmouth, Maine attic. The owners wanted an improvement over their old fiberglass insulation. We installed blown in cellulose insulation, which is mold and insect resistant. Cellulose easily fills around rafters and attic cavities to better insulate the space. It's made of recycled materials, making it an environmentally friendly choice. 

Homeowners in Yarmouth, Maine reached out to TC Hafford Basement Systems for help with insulating their basement. They wanted to improve their energy efficiency to have savings on their utility bills. We installed Foamax on the basement walls, a paneled insulation that not only helps keep the basement warm, but also acts as a vapor barrier. In the ceiling we used Rockwool insulation, a durable option that does not sag or get damp and moldy like traditional fiberglass insulation.

We installed Foamax basement wall insulation which has a foil vapor barrier on the back to protect against moisture and humidity. Foamax also helps insulate the space so the warmer air in the basement isn't escaping through the walls. The white foil on the front of the Foamax gives a nice clean finished look.

We helped the town office in Hanover, Maine to improve the comfort of the offices by installing Spray Foam insulation. Foreman Gabe applied Spray Foam to the basement walls as well as along the rim joists, sealing cold air out. Spray Foam is a great option for basement insulation because it is mold and water resistant in addition to the energy efficiency improvements.
