First, the old sump was removed and replaced with a SuperSump that is connected to a Buried Discharge Line. The SuperSump takes all groundwater and pumps it through the Buried Discharge Line far enough from the house where it can’t cause any trouble. To keep the system running all year round without issue, IceGuard is installed to prevent ice buildup during the harsh Maine winter months. Now the homeowner is able to use their basement for storage without concern of their belongings being damaged.
