Sump Pumps Before & After Photos

Homeowners in Bangor, Maine had installed their own sump pump years ago and realized over time that they wanted a more professional system installed. We installed the SuperSump pump system, which has a 1/3 horsepower cast iron Zoeller sump pump that can handle over 2,200 gallons of water per hour. The new SuperSump system also has a lid, and is concreted in, so the owners no longer have an open sump pit. 

A previous customer already had our TripleSafe sump pump system at another property, so when they purchased their new property and had an old sump with a leaking basement, they gave us a call right away. We replaced their old sump with the TripleSafe system. The TripleSafe has three pumps - two Zoeller pumps, and a third battery backup pump. We also installed WaterGuard, a perimeter drainage system that collects water seeping into the basement and channels it to the TripleSafe to be pumped away. CleanSpace Wall System was installed on the walls as a vapor barrier to seal moisture out. A new SaniDry Sedona high efficiency air system was installed to control the humidity in the basement. Capable of removing over 100 pints of water from the air per day, the SaniDry Sedona is the world's most efficient dehumidifier. 

Every time heavy rain comes through, this Machiasport, ME basement fills with a couple of inches of water, causing severe moisture issues for the homeowner. The homeowner scheduled a free estimate with TC Hafford Basement Systems and worked with System Design Specialist Craig Ziegenbein to design an encapsulation system that would help the homeowner protect their home's health.

CleanSpace with Drainage Matting is laid on the ground to create a channel for water and an inorganic barrier between the CleanSpace and the outside elements. The CleanSpace Wall System was installed to create a full encapsulation system to keep moisture out of the space. The water has to go somewhere, so a SmartSump Sump Pump was installed to pump water through the new Exterior Buried Discharge Line. To keep the system running all year, even during the winter, IceGuard was installed on the Discharge Line to prevent ice from building up. Finally, a SaniDry Sedona was installed and connected to a condensate pump that drains to the SmartSump. Now, humidity will stay at a safe level, and the homeowner will never have to worry about emptying a bucket of water. The space is fully encapsulated, and the home’s health is protected.

Homeowners from Eastport, ME were excited for help with their wet basement. They already had sump pump that wasn't keeping up, and they said they would love to not have to worry about the wet basement anymore.
