System Design Specialist Craig Z. helped a local church in Athens, Maine that was getting water coming in onto their basement floor after rain storms. Water had already damaged the carpeting that was in the space, causing it to be removed. The church wanted the basement to be a usable space again. We installed a SuperSump Plus pump system to remove the water. The SuperSump can handle over 2,000 gallons of water per hour, pumping it away from the home to keep the basement dry.
This Waterville, ME, homeowner has had a consistent leak in their basement since moving in, which has led to their basement floor being damaged. Wanting to finish their basement without their hard work and money going down the drain, the homeowner booked a free estimate with TC Hafford Basement Systems. System Design Specialist Ken Castillo worked with the homeowner to design a waterproofing system specifically for their needs.
WaterGuard was installed around the perimeter of the basement where needed to catch and channel water to the new SuperSump Plus. The SuperSump Plus features a battery back up system and the larger TripleSafe Sump Liner for the easy addition of a second Zoeller sump pump if needed in the future to offer the homeowner three levels of protection. An External Buried Discharge line is installed and connected to the SuperSump Plus to drain the water from the basement out of the home and far away, where it will no longer be a problem. To prevent the system from ice buildup and keep the system running during every season, IceGuard was installed on the Discharge line. The homeowner is now able to refinish their basement floor without the risk of it being damaged by water, and they can finally use the space as it was intended.
New homeowners in Pittsfield, Maine frequently experienced 2-3" of water in their basement, and they were tired of cleaning it up constantly. They met with System Design Specialist Mark S. who provided a free estimate to waterproof the basement. We installed a new concrete floor with WaterGuard interior perimeter drainage system. The WaterGuard captures water at the cove joint and channels it to the new TripleSafe sump pump to be pumped away from the home through an exterior buried discharge line. The TripleSafe sump system has two Zoeller pumps, as well as a third battery backup pump to keep the system running if the home loses power. CleanSpace Wall System was also installed on the walls as a vapor barrier to seal out moisture.
Owners of this Dexter, Maine basement were dealing with water intrusion problems coming in from their old rock walls. To keep their basement completely dry, we started with covering the walls with CleanSpace Wall System, which is a vapor barrier sealing moisture out of the space. We poured a new slab floor with WaterGuard perimeter drainage system. A TripleSafe sump pump was added, which connects to the WaterGuard so that water collected in the drainage system is pumped away from the home. The TripleSafe has two Zoeller pumps, as well as a third battery backup pump. The UltraSump battery backup allows the pump to operate even if the home loses power. Finally, we installed a SaniDry Sedona high efficiency air system, which controls the humidity as well as filters allergens from the air.
Homeowners in Waldoboro, Maine contacted us for help when they checked on their seasonal home and found 8" of water in the basement. We installed a TripleSafe sump pump system, which is the top of the line sump with a battery backup. The TripleSafe has two Zoeller pumps that combined can handle over 6,000 gallons of water per hour in high capacity events. It also features a third battery backup pump to keep the system running even if the home loses power. Installing the TripleSafe sump pump now gives these homeowners peace of mind for when they can't be at the property.
